There’s no going back There’s no calling dad There’s no going back There’s no calling.. dad. Verse 1: There was once a boy, named forest Gump, who lived with his mom. She tried her best, to raise him right, no different from the rest. He had screws in his legs, a brace on his back, and a simple mind. So Forrest ran, Young jenny in hand, from mean young men. There’s no going back There’s no calling dad There’s no going back There’s no calling.. dad. Verse 2: So Forrest grew, into a fine young man, into college he ran. He made his momma real proud, as he got his degree, and his Heisman trophy. Until one day, the military came, and took young Forrest away. They put a gun in his hands, said “you better run young man, you’re off to Vietnam.” There’s no going back There’s no calling dad There’s no calling DAAAAAD.

Four Generations of Taylor's blood rains down upon foreign lands, a bloody rain, an unholy blessing on those foreign faces and foreign hands. Follow them, follow them into war Young Dan, follow them into your time, a time of sand. Don't you worry about anyone else, you were made to fade, just like everyone else in your house. You'll live up to a great name, only your name to blame. And Dan said I'm not afraid to die, I won't fear my destiny, Please don't you cry, You can take every part of me, I won't let you down. I won't let you. So what are you gonna do now Dan? Now that the war is over and they took everything from you, but they didn't take every part of you? They took your legs and now you're strapped into that chair and in your future you only see yourself dangling from rope. What are you gonna do now that your life has strayed from what you thought was laid out? From what you thought your destiny was meant to be, and you lose a part of your identity. What are you gonna do now that you have to find something new? Damn Lt. Dan what are ya gonna do? Dan said, I don't know where I belong, I don't know where it all went wrong. I want to die. I don't know where to find myself. I just wanted to make you proud, That's all. And on that faithful night in New York, as you stayed in that bar and watched the ball drop, A call came in for you, some dope named Gump. He called you into work, and off you went screaming into storms. Screaming against God, asking why you were born. As the Hurricane raged around, and everything else was destroyed, only you two were left aboard. You found a new wealth, a new meaning to yourself. Now you stand high, with your new form, reformed, with your titanium legs. Just like they use on the rockets. I have been found. I know where i belong I don't have to die. I have made my family, so damn proud. Now I can fly. Now I can fly. Even if things don't go the way you want them to, everything happens the way it's supposed to. You'll find your way. Don't you worry son, just fly on your wing. It'll be Okay, even when things aren't okay.

April May 04:57
I was an April Fool, caught in the middle of May. This year has been so long, I have lost my way. I keep on tossing and turning, even my dreams can't save me, So i'll stay up late, dreaming of what is to be. Zyrtec DM, Citalopram, neither of these things can decongest whats in my head. Chorus: The sun always shines through the rain Just like I'll smile through the pain. By June I'll be just like you, I'll function the way I'm supposed to. I guess I'll try, to figure out how, it's supposed to go. The Winter storm is so long, I fight just to hold on. Your hands feel so cold, they bite into my soul. I pretend it don't hurt, but it only gets worse. So I'll say what it takes, to get you on your way. And I guess I'll try my best, to get you out of my head. The sun always shines through the snow, Just like I'll pretend that I know. That by July I'll be just like you. I'll pretend that I know what I have to do.

Fly Free 04:39
There was a young girl named Jenny Carran, who lived out with her Dad. He was a vicious, nasty man, who'd hit her when he can. To make her a bird, Jenny would pray. Until they took him away. And She'd fly, Fly Free, from her rib cage. Yeah, she'd try, to break from her rib cage. So Jenny grew into a fine young lass, who'd go out and chase her dream. No matter what she tried, it wouldn't work out to be. So she fell on some hard times, and she would still try to fly. Riding on a cocaine high, from the balcony she would try. To Fly, fly free, from her pain. And just try, to break free, from her pain. Jaded, Jaded from all her experiences with mean nasty men and heroin needles, and cocaine. Jenny found herself, feeling like she never achieved what she had hoped. This wasn't the way to fly, there's no freedom bound to something earthly. So she tried to go home, down to Greenbow, the only place she had ever known, and felt loved.

Jenny 04:53
Oh Jenny, where have you gone? x2 V1. It’s been two weeks since you showed up, unannounced upon my lawn. You slept just like the dead, cuz life ain’t give you no rest. But when you woke we walked and talked, all about my time in Vietnam. Until we stopped at your old house and I watched you cry, From your hands those stones fly-ed. And I said sometimes there ain’t enough rocks, To tear it down. To tear it down. Ch. And now you’re gone, and so I’ll run. Until I leave behind, What’s been on my mind. Oooh x2 I’ll run! Run! I’ll keep on running. x2 Verse 2 Hey Jenny! I got your letter today. Hey Jenny! I’m on my way! I couldn’t believe my eyes, when I saw u again. You looked the same as you have. That's when they brought em in, a little boy of five, he said Hi Mr. Gump. And I asked you who his daddy was, and you said it was me, and I started to cry as I asked was he smart or was he like me? You said he's the smartest in his class, you said "Hey forrest, I'm getting real sick. I need someone to take care of me and he." And I said "Jenny, come back to Greenbow with me and we'll be a family, just us three. " And you said "Marry me" and I said "Okay." "Okay." And Now you're gone, So I'll raise our son, And Teach him right from wrong, So He knows he's loved. And it goes "oooh oohhh oooh ah"
